Born Ricardo G. Fabregas Diaz in the Bronx, N.Y. and raised in the streets
of Chicago, Florida, Pennsylvania and Puerto Rico Ricardo G. Fabregas Diaz
began to forge not only a strong personality but a great capacity to
narrate and tell stories. From an early age, he was exposed to constant
changes of city and an unstable family environment which was extremely
difficult for him. Writing was his escape. The music, a notebook and a
pencil were what helped Artista Rosario survive these difficult times. Each
line expressed his feelings and thoughts. Inspired by great storytellers
and magical voices that tell stories not only of love but of the streets
artists such as Héctor Lavoe, Frankie Ruiz, Marc Anthony, and Jerry Rivera
began to be part of the life of this young singer.
With the example of Jay-Z as an artist and entrepreneur and authors and
producers like Ricardo Arjona, Nas, Quincy Jones, Ne-Yo and Hip-Hop legends
like 2pac and Biggie, Artist Rosario has used this rich history to
translate his own passion through song and turned himself into a real
writer and performer. With the advantage of being multicultural and
bilingual Artista Rosario has created a musical style and very original
letters that has led him to be considered one of the great artists of the
moment. Artist Rosario has shared the stage at various festivals and events
with artists such as Luis Fonsi, Sie7e, Alexis y Fido, Yaga y Mackie, Johan
and O'Neill, Baby Rasta & Gringo, Alex Kyza and Martell "The
multitalented", among others.
His first album, 'The Theatre of the Mind', is due out this year and
includes great collaborations and surprises for his audience and the press.
His current single, "I can promise" is in rotation on radio stations in the
U.S. and Puerto Rico.
